It’s that time of year again and the end of the 2009/10 financial year is upon us. For users of BusinessCraft software there are some important operations to consider at this particular time of year.
Please read this article in full to obtain latest information available.
This End Of Financial Year BusinessCraft news article along with the Payroll2010.zip attachment contains all the necessary information required to assist you with your End Of Year processes within BusinessCraft for 2010.
Please read through the End of Year Checklist to familiarise yourself with the correct steps to carry out End of Year functions for each BusinessCraft module.
For more information about which files are required for download for Payroll, please read through HT-PR950 Payroll Year End Process.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are using Payroll and wish to produce complying Payment Summaries and EMPDUPE files from BusinessCraft, you will need to be on either BusinessCraft V4.73c or 4.93q. Subsequent to this advice we have now released V4.73d and 4.93r which address a specific requirement related to lump sum payments.
As the end of financial year is always our busiest period for support, and given that support priority must be directed to all “end of year” payroll enquiries, we ask our clients to please be patient with non-payroll BusinessCraft support queries during the month of July.
For end of year payroll specific issues please either e-mail support@businesscraft.com or telephone our dedicated end of year payroll support line on 02 9294 7989. Your call will be recorded and the issue promptly directed for quick resolution.
You may experience a longer lead time for non-payroll support issues and we thank you for your patience in advance. Of course, urgent support issues (payroll related or not) will always be looked after in a timely manner.
We take this opportunity to remind all customers of the necessity to ensure that your data is backed up on a regular basis. As part of the end of year process, there are critical points at which back up need to be taken. To be fully covered, you should also have at least monthly archives of all your company’s data files and an additional copy kept off site as well.
Regards,
BusinessCraft Pty Ltd
